National CBD Day, all that You Need to Know

There are many days associated with cannabis throughout the year, such as the 20^th of April or 4/20 (The Marijuana Holiday) and the 10^th of July or 7/10 (The National Cannabis Oil Day). Now there is another relatively new national holiday associated with cannabis known as National CBD Day. It was founded in 2018, and here is everything that you need to know about this day.

The Naming of National CBD Day

We all know that each national day has distinctive and substantial reasoning behind it. For example, the Marijuana Holiday is celebrated on 4/20 (20^th of April) because a group of teenagers used to smoke marijuana at 4:20 am every day. On the other hand, the National Cannabis Oil Day is celebrated on 7/10 (10^th of July) because this date upside down looks like “OIL.”

But the National CBD Day doesn’t have such a cool and unique explanation. It is celebrated on the 8^th of august because the NDC Organization’s team (National Day Calendar) chose it. The NDC is a company that strives to introduce new national holidays using the media source. It basically helps other companies or individuals to inaugurate the new holidays. Even you can go to their website and suggest or apply for any unique day as a national holiday.

There is a well-known North Carolina base CBD manufacturer known as CBDmd, which initiated the National CBD Day. Back in 2017, the CBDmd suggested National CBD Day to NDC. Before August 2018, the National CBD Day was already recognized. The CBD fans from across the globe were anxiously waiting for the 8^th of August 2018.

The committee of NDC has only four members who go through all the applications they receive throughout the year. The approximate number of the application is 20,000 that NDC gets each year. Only those four members who comprise the committee have to analyze all the filed claims. Moreover, all the votes that a particular nominated holiday gets must be unanimous.

Due to the extreme popularity of CBD in the United States, especially after its legalization, the committee had to put forward the National CBD Day application.

Now it is a known fact that CBD is a healthy and natural supplement that improves wellbeing and health. Because of its positive effects and popularity, the National CBD Day application got approved by the committee in 2018. Thus, the committee selected the 8^th of August, as the celebration day.

In the last couple of years, people celebrated The National CBD Day with full of excitement and joy. It comes with a lot of benefits, especially to the CBD organizations. It can be partially true, or it can be entirely wrong. But the benefits that National CBD Day is bringing are undeniable. One of the most significant benefits of National CBD Day and other CBD holidays is that the CBD products are being destigmatized.

According to the ground realities, not only CBDmd but also many other companies offer percentages off and discounts on most of their CBD products on National CBD Day. Additionally, because of the increasing awareness and discounts, more and more people are trying CBD products for the first time. Indeed, the National CBD has not yet received the recognition that it deserves. It is still not that big of a holiday when all the people get their workday off.
